Upon receipt of a valid order you will receive an email confirmation with an order number and details of the items that you have ordered. At Temptation Gifts we aim to despatch your goods the same working day, or failing that the following working day. You will receive a further email when your order has been dispatched. Orders received over the weekend (after midday on Friday) will be dispatched the following Monday.
We use two main shipping methods for overseas delivery: TRACKED INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL and TRACKED FEDEX COURIER. For countries within the EU we offer both a standard and premium FedEx option. The prices for these services are listed in the tables below.
TRACKED INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL: (Using Royal Mail in association with their international partners). This option is only available for EU orders up to a value of £24.99 and is priced at £7.99. If your order is despatched using this service, we estimate it will take between one to two weeks from despatch date to be delivered.
TRACKED FEDEX COURIER SERVICE:
FedEx Standard Delivery (EU ONLY) For EU orders under the value of £100, we offer the option of FedEx Standard delivery. If your order is despatched using this service we estimate it will take 3-7 working days to be delivered and may require a signature on arrival. Once your order is despatched, you should receive an email from FedEx with tracking information so that you can track your order online. If you do not receive an email from FedEx, please email our customer service department on email@example.com and they will be able to provide you with the tracking number.
FedEx Premium Delivery This is the only international shipping option available to non-EU countries, as well as orders to EU countries over £100. If your order is despatched using this service it will take either 1-3 working days (USA / Europe) or 3-7 working days (Worldwide) from the despatch date and will require a signature on arrival. Once your order is despatched, you should receive an email from FedEx with tracking information so that you can track your order online. If you do not receive an email from FedEx, please email our customer service department on firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be able to provide you with the tracking number.
We cannot be held responsible for any customs taxes and charges which you may be charged. Please contact customs and excise for further details.

International deliveries - exemptions, taxes and surcharges
Extremely rarely, in the event of unusually heavy or oversized orders going to overseas destinations, our shipping tariffs will prove insufficient to cover our costs. If this is the case, we will contact you and request that you pay a postage surcharge to equal our specific shipping costs for your order. Should you choose not to pay that surcharge we will refund your payment in full and cancel your order. Should we receive no reply to this request we will hold your order for seven days awaiting a response and then refund your payment in full and cancel your order.
Import Taxes, Duties and Fees
Please note that all orders being sent outside of the UK may be liable for customs duties, purchase taxes (e.g. VAT), or additional charges when they arrive in a foreign country. These fees may vary from country to country dependent on the local rate of tax. Duties which may be levied on certain goods may also include an admin fee from the delivery company collecting these fees on behalf of the government in question.
By placing an order on our site to be delivered to an international destination, you are agreeing to accept liability for any such charges as described above, which may be levied upon delivery. If your order qualifies for any of these charges, they will usually be invoiced directly by the delivery company delivering your parcel. For example, if your delivery is being made by FedEx, FedEx will usually notify you of any fee to pay either on the morning of delivery, or at the point of delivery. If Airmail is chosen, a notification of fees may come via your national postal service or Royal Mail’s subsidiary GFS.
If you choose FedEx and you have a FedEx account number, please notify us at the time of order placement. If provided, FedEx will be able to directly charge your account and you should not incur any additional administration fee. In our experience, the implementation of additional fees and charges on international deliveries is somewhat haphazard and varies from country to country, so we are unable to estimate what, if any, fees may be charged to you. We therefore recommend visiting your government’s customs and import website for further information if you are concerned.
Refusal of or Undelivered International Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us from overseas due to any of the following reasons: the recipient’s refusal to pay import taxes, duties or charges; the inability to deliver a parcel due to inputting an incorrect address at checkout; or where the customer is not available or refuses delivery; (except where the goods are damaged or faulty) the customer will be responsible for the return of the goods to us and we reserve the right to deduct the cost of both the outgoing and return shipping as well as any admin fees that we may have been charged by the delivery company from any refund we offer.
Please note - orders to China, Hong Kong & Taiwan must be sent via FedEx Express and must be below £100 in value
Due to strict import regulations, we are only able to send orders below £100 to China and its provinces unless an Importer Customs Registration code is provided. All orders must therefore be sent via our FedEx service.
Please note - we cannot send orders to Russia, Ukraine, Indonesia, Andorra, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela or Yemen
Due to custom authorities rejecting all imports to private addresses we have been forced to suspend services to the Russian Federation.
