Lynsey Jonhstone is an artist who has been passionate about art since a young age and has experimented with different styles and techniques. She was influenced by the beautiful coastal and rural landscapes of Dumfries and Galloway, as well as the vivid colours of her grandmother's garden. She mainly uses acrylics with mixed media in her art and likes to create texture and depth through the use of flicking paint and layering. She discovered her ambition to make art a way of life after moving to Devon in her later years.
