The metal tin is white in colour with Wrendale speckles, a mushroom rim and knob complete with a matt finish and the design covers the entire tin!
The outside of the tin features illustrations of dogs as part of the ‘A Dog’s Life’ range. Adorable dogs including a black Labrador, cockerpoo, golden retriever and more are depicted in watercolour around the edge of the tin. The images are painted in soft hues, in the expressive style that is associated with Wrendale Designs.
The lid of the tin has a raised knob allowing for easy removal. It also features the more dog illustrations alonf with biscuits. The underside of the lid features an illustration of two small dogs sitting looking up adoringly.
Inside the canister the design continues with illustrations of different breeds of dog and in the bottom is a single pup sat in a pink teacup.
Wrendale Designs
This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
