On the main body of the cracker is a selection of Wrendale most popular countryside designs including animals such as pheasants, stags, foxes and more. The illustrations are set against a pale grey background, and it is painted in the calm neutral tones in the trademark watercolour style that Wrendale is known for. The animals are surrounded by falling snow, along with the black paint speckle design that is synonymous with the Wrendale brand.
Either end of the cracker is tied together with ribbon featuring a small pearlescent pendant hanging in the middle. Inside the cracker you’ll find a Christmas hat, a joke/animal fact and a beautiful domed glass magnet that features another beautiful Wrendale Christmas illustration. Wrendale Designs
This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
