The cover of the diary features a beautiful pale green background and a classic Wrendale illustration of a pair of adorable baby foxes who are curled up together, one guarding the other as it sleeps. The pair have taken shelter under a gorgeous oak tree amongst a field mouse, a bullfinch, red and white toadstools and fallen leaves. The text on the front of the diary, in gold foiling, reads ‘hello 2026’.
The desk diary runs from January 2026 – December 2026 with a day-by-day view – with Saturdays and Sundays combined. On each day, there are lines for you to write your plans, a notes section titled ‘don’t forget’ and space to note down birthdays and anniversaries. All major important dates and holidays are noted on their corresponding day. At the start of each month there is also a handy page for you to write ‘this month I will…’, ‘projects to start’, ‘projects to finish’, ‘something new to try’ and ‘self-care (just for me)’. There is also a sage green ribbon bookmark to keep you on the right day.
As well as this, the front of the diary features pages for your all-important information, an overview of 2026 and 2027, pages for your ‘weekly routines’ and your monthly overviews. At the back there is a forward planner for 2027. Each page showcases a different beautiful illustration, painted in the gorgeous watercolour style of Hannah Dale.

Wrendale Designs
The wonderful Wrendale Designs collection is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by much-loved Lincolnshire artist Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and her signature speckles of black paint.
Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life in the English countryside, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business and the collection has grown over the years, ranging from stationery to homeware, accessories to storage tins, clothing to ceramicware from British brand Portmeirion, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
