The front of this cushion is decorated with an endearing portrait of a hedgehog, painted in soft watercolour tones. The hedgehog is just awakening from hibernation with all four paws still folded together, but her beady black eyes are already wide and alert. The design is surrounded by the trademark black speckles that Wrendale are known for. The design is set on a beige cushion which is made of a cotton linen blend fabric, and it is filled with ethically sourced feathers.
On the reverse of this cushion is an adorable hedgehog watching a buzzing bumblebee. The hedgehog has his head tilted to one side as he looks inquisitively at the bee as it flutters around collecting nectar from the red flower. The cushion is finished off with a grey pied edge, a concealed zip fastening and the Wrendale branded tag.
Ideal for bringing a touch of nature and the countryside into your home, this practical and beautiful cushion makes a lovely gift for any animal lover, be that a friend or relative whether for a birthday, at Christmas or as a house warming present.
The feathers used in this product are ethically sourced and are a by-product of other industry and do not drive the demand for animal product in any way. Wrendale felt like this was the most responsible choice rather than adding to the global demand for plastic.

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
