It is with a very warm welcome and more than a little excitement that we at Temptation Gifts welcome you to our website and this, our inaugural blog post!
When Temptation started in a leafy town in Hertfordshire some 29 years ago, no one knew for sure how successful it would be. But founders Mike and Sheena Adams believed that shopping should be fun and affordable - an actively enjoyable experience - and so it was inevitable that success was to follow. Cut to 2012 and Temptation Gifts has five (soon to be six) stores as well as a flourishing website; but you know that already, that's why you're here!

At TemptationGifts.com we're always looking at ways to improve your shopping experience, and this blog is aiming to do just that. Even though shopping online is bound to differ slightly from shopping in one of our stores (there's nothing quite like the personal touch), we believe the difference shouldn't really be that big. Every week we'll update the blog with any Temptation news we think you might be interested in, be it amazing offers on products, exciting new ranges, relevant news stories from around the world, or behind the scenes goings-on that (we hope) will give you some insight into the way we work.
We know there's a bafflingly huge selection of websites to buy from, but we pride ourselves on valuing your custom more than most. We have an eternally friendly customer service team working from 8:30 to 5:30 every day (apart from Sundays, when they get their well-earned rest) to take your calls. This is why more and more people keep turning, and returning, to us. And if you can't find anything you like, then you're simply not looking hard enough!
Our ever-friendly customer service team.
With that in mind, the timing of this maiden blog post coincides perfectly with a brand new range at Temptation Gifts that we're pretty certain you're going to love: the Connie Fisher Collection. If the name sounds familiar, it should do: she's the singing sensation that stormed to victory on the BBC's 'How do you Solve a Problem like Maria?', winning the title role in the West End play, The Sound of Music. What you may not know is that Connie has long held a passion for beads and jewellery, so when she got the opportunity to work in collaboration with Carrie Elspeth, she jumped at the chance - well, who wouldn't?!
The beautiful range of necklaces, earrings and bracelets is full of colour, class, and guaranteed to put you in the limelight. It's one of many amazing lines here at Temptation, and we look forward to sharing them all with you over the course of the foreseeable future. Happy shopping!
