On days like today when the weather is so variable, it’s hard to know what to do with yourself. Weekends turn into a “shall we-shan’t we” discussion as to whether you leave the house; if you’ve got kids and it’s the summer holidays then it can be doubly as tricky.
Much of summer has been a washout this year, and unless you’re lucky enough to be heading elsewhere on holiday (in which case see last week’s blog post), you can bank on a fair few rainy days over the coming weeks.
Filling this time can be a bit of an art form, but fortunately at Temptation, we’ve got a great idea to keep you occupied.
With the emergence of the internet and social platforms, sharing photos and experiences has become easier than ever. But it also makes those memories a little less special. Nothing beats the feeling of flipping through the pages of a lovingly-filled scrapbook, and we’ve got plenty to choose from online including a great selection from East of India.
A selection of East of India Scrap Books.
If you’re anything like us and you’ve kept old concert tickets, souvenirs and other keepsakes, a scrap book is the perfect place to gather them all, writing little reminders and memories next to everything you stick in. This can be a brilliant way to keep your kids occupied (and it doesn’t involve a television!) as it encourages writing, memory, and a bit of arts and crafts. We’ve also got Mr & Mrs books that you can fill up with all the good times enjoyed with your other half. Have a look what Tom, a member of our web marketing team, has created:
Alternatively, if you like to cook, why not bring together all your favourite recipes in one place with a recipe book? It’s a great way to fill a rainy day, but will also save you a lot of time in the future: you’ll no longer have to search through printouts and cookbooks trying to remember where everything is!
Whatever your fancy, there’s more than enough choice to ensure the rain doesn’t leave you with nothing to do.
