Web Marketing Assistant
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic graduate to join our award-winning e-commerce team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our e-commerce headquarters in Chesham Vale and will involve supporting the current team in matters of marketing, customer service, website development, graphic design, administration and P.R.
Who are you?
The successful candidate will be a university graduate, with high personal standards in matters relating to punctuality, reliability, and quality of work. You will have some interest in the web... and no fear of hard work!
Who are we?
Our e-commerce arm was launched in 2000 and this year won the national award for "Best Online Gift Retailer". A four-strong ‘marketing and customer service’ team works alongside a four-strong ‘fulfilment’ team under the direction of the head of e-commerce.
What skills should you have?
Good spoken and written English, and reliable numeracy are essential. Computer literacy, proficient typing and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Flexibility and the ability to progress several projects simultaneously. Some experience with photography and Adobe Photoshop preferred. Some experience with HTML and web design preferred but not essential.
What will you do?
The role will evolve but duties will include: providing support to the customer service team; product photography and digital image manipulation; writing and updating online product descriptions and marketing copy; project research and critical analysis of putative commercial partners.
Details
Initial salary will be £13,000 to £14,500 dependent on the experience and skills of the successful applicant. Benefits include 28 days paid holiday and a generous staff discount. Hours will be 8.30am to 5.30 Monday to Friday. During the Christmas period office staff may be expected to work weekend shifts in lieu of normal hours.

Everyone who comes to work at Temptation is told on day one that our philosophy is shopping should be fun. Of course, working for us should be fun too, but it's the commitment of our sales assistants and managers to providing really great customer service day in, day out, which will make the experience special for our customers.

Hours
Our stores are open from 9am until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays (11am - 5pm in Henley)

Training
Our basic training is divided into four modules

Uniform
We don't have one. All we ask is that you look smart and fairly conventional.

Holidays
Being in the gift industry there are a few times of year when it's just not possible to take holiday - mainly November and December and a couple of other 'pressure' times like the week before Mothering Sunday.You will earn paid holiday from the first day of your employment and your annual entitlement will be 5.6 weeks (28 days for a full time member of staff)

Staff Discount
You can take 10% discount on most items of stock from your first week and after you've been with us a month you can even operate a monthly account (over 18's only). From month 6 your discount rate goes up to 30% - very useful at Christmas time!

Birthdays
If you tell us when it is we'll do our best to remember and send you a card and a special £15 Temptation voucher.
