Alpaca Panda with Bamboo Shoot
This long-time symbol of China is undoubtly a beloved figure, and this beautiful Steiff Panda is sure to be loved just as much as the real thing!
His soft fur is made of black & white alpaca, with mohair soles and he is 5 way jointed to make him easily poseable.
In his right paw he is holding a handmade felt stick of bamboo.

Panda stands at 26cm tall and is one of a limited edition of 2,008 pieces worldwide.


Steiff
Steiff have been manufacturing bears and other collectable characters for over 125 years. All their cuddly companions are "made in Germany" in Steiff's own factory.
As with all those characters made in the early days, it is still the manual skills that make each Steiff product wonderfully unique.

Each Steiff bear is signified by a "Tag" in its left ear, and each of these tags has a meaning.
A Yellow Tag - identifies the bears which are produced in unlimited numbers
A White & Black Tag - identifies a limited edition bear which is a replica of one originally produced by Steiff many years ago.
A White & Red Tag - identifies a limited edition bear which will be produced as a special for the current year, or to commemorate an occasion.
