I received the subject order with more speed than a US domestic shipment, maybe 3-4 days after placing the order.
My principal reason for writing, however, is to sing the praises of the one who packed my order. Outside of my own packing, I have never seen such a respectful, professional, effective job. Truly, it was its own work of art, independent of the Dunoon mugs which arrived as if they never traveled. I am grateful you took the time to investigate and reply. I am doubly grateful that you have located the package and are able to resend it. I recently sent a package to the same address and it was received yesterday so I know not of any reason why it couldn't be delivered. I am not in regular contact with the receipient and only thought to check on delivery a couple of weeks ago.
I think it is a good test of a company as to how they deal with customer issues and you have excelled. Too many internet companies seem to go into hiding when things like this happen!

Unfortunately, the gift I had ordered on thursday for next day deliery did not arrive.
Following a very traumatic few weeks, with moving hose, my mum being diagnosed with Cancer and changing jobs, this was the straw that broke the camel's back!
I had taken the responsibility of chosing and ordering my new manager's leaving present from the department and had taken the day off work to be in when it was delivered, so i was understandably upset when it did not arrive.
However when I rang on Friday evening, the response was not the usual- "Well sorry but nothing i can do". In fact far from it- the effort the man i spoke to went to was nothing short of amazing . I was SOOOO impressed and he did get the parcel to me on Saturday morning.!!!
This meant i had it with me for the presentation this morning. She loved it, the team were delighted with my choice and i felt very relieved!

I just received my order the other day and I was first impressed with how fast you were able to ship my order to me here in California USA. My order no. 10693 arrived in this afternoon's mail. I almost cried when I saw the box, fearing the worst about the condition of the mugs inside. The box was wet, crushed and one side actually open! But due to the superb packing job of your staff, the Poppy Flowers Mug and Daffodil Flowers Mug were in perfect condition. Thank you so much for the care taken in packing the mugs. I'm sure the extra packing material that was put all around them saved them from being damaged and now I can enjoy these lovely mugs.

It's reassuring to know the mug is [dishwasher and microwave] safe as although I may not put it in either I can't guarantee that family members would remember if it was not safe for either! It's a pretty design and I am very pleased. I have had Dunoon mugs for many years as my 'special' mug and they have always lasted a very long time. It's usually an accident causing irreparable damage that calls an end to their lives!

Fortunately, I live very near to the Temptations store in Berkhamsted. I have shopped there for as many years as I have lived in Hertfordshire (12). I love the variety of unusual gifts, the cards are just exceptional and most of all, the service and friendly staff are more than ever willing to help.
I adore the shop and have just gone on to your web site today for the first time to see what it is like and I must say, it's brilliant. When I have family visiting, I take them to see your wonderful shop and they just love it and wish they had one near them!
